Their staff in the Kenner location do not know how to answer a telephone and neither give customer satisfaction via correct telephone numbers for transfers. My first call, I told them I wanted diabetic orthopedic shoes and did they handle these..."just a moment and I will connect you" to a number which rang 4 times and heard "this extension's mailbox is full" click. I called back again and a different voice came on line as I explained the above and said " who did you talk to?" I will now connect you...put me on a brief hold and then hung up. This place is awful to deal with. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the delivery person and the nurse that came to help me set up my CPAP machine are very nice. This is the only good thing I can say about this place.The people in the office, especially the CPAP staff are terrible and will not help you. They have been rude and they lie.

I was assisting my friend with his heart surgery back the middle of July, 2021. We were in Houston and he wanted a hospital bed to help with the recovery. I had no idea how to go about any of this. I called Duramed and the several people I spoke to were very helpful and kind. It was a stressful time and they totally took care of us.They explained the medicare aspect. (since it was not required by a physician we had to pay out of pocket). I found the prices very reasonable. I think I called them on a Thursday, we made it home that Sunday evening to Diamondhead MS. The bed arrived by about 11am on Monday!! The delivery fella brought it in, set up and all in under 1/2 hour.I just called to set up the pick-up for next week, and once again spoke to a very pleasant girlie, Katie.Easy - peasy.
