“5 STARS for Miss Tristan (I apologize if I spell your name wrong ?) You were so good with my son while he SCREAMED and lost his mind cutting his hair. We will definitely be back again! You were patient and empathetic with me. It's definitely hard trying to get kids to act one way at one home and then they act different at another, so I really appreciate you leveling with me and empathizing with me. I needed the reassurance that I am his "safe space" to act a fool.

As for your neighbor hair dresser, to the left.... If I wouldn't have been busy with my son, we would have had a conversation about judging other moms for whether or not their kids get their hair cut ?. He fights me because "I'm his safe space" as Miss Tristan assured me professionally. Instead of judging, staring and acting superior for "not arguing with your kids", you could have showed some grace, and helped your coworker once you finished with your client... or at least waited until WE LEFT ??. It is 2024. Mom shaming is gross. Laughing at someone else struggling, is nasty.

“I came here for a hair cut, color refresh, and keratin treatment recently as my longterm Stylist recently started working from this location. While my haircut was perfect as always, I didn't love the atmosphere.Upon arrival, this place is a small metal building with a tiny parking lot, like maybe 10 spaces to park. It was nicer than expected on the inside as far as available facilities, there was plenty of seating, a separate hair washing area, and plenty of floor space. However for only having 3 stylists on the floor working, it was very loud. Someone's phone kept going off and their ringer/alert tone was very loud and jarring. I heard one lady take an obviously personal phone call while on the floor and wasn't even trying to be discreet about it. And one of the women kept coming over and asking my stylist questions about how he was doing the process on my hair. I did not appreciate the multiple interruptions to his work flow and our conversation. Maybe I'm just used to having him all to myself as we usually were left alone at his previous salon, but something about the way she was acting made me uncomfortable. I even asked my stylist at one point if she realised he'd been doing hair for nearly 20 years and didn't need a babysitter to make sure he was doing things correctly.I'll keep going back as I've followed my stylist through every salon he's worked out of for the last 15 years, but I really hope that next time it is quieter and more professional.“
