I chose this walk in clinic because it was the only option when I was sick previously and I was treated so well then. This visit was ok. There was practically no wait time and the receptionist was great. But the doctor was not very nice. I chose to go back to this location because the doctor in my town is not nice either. I’m not sure if this is just typical for walk in clinics or just lake after hours. But seriously doctors. Be nicer.
The office staff at Lake Urgent Care in Denham Sprgs were very friendly and accommodating. NP Stephanie Turner treated my issue with meds. I would recommend her and staff to other patients.
The wait time was really short in the waiting room & in the actual exam room to speak to the first person, then the PA came in immediately after. Lab results were also pretty much immediate. They didn’t speak down to me even though I struggled to describe symptoms & medications in the correct terms. This was all one day before a holiday & never once did I get the feeling they’d rather not be there, that they wanted to just get me out the door. Prescription was sent immediately, paperwork was thorough. The 2nd lab results came back on a Saturday & I got a personal call which I missed & then a voicemail.
