Tried to make an appointment over the phone twice. The first time the receptionist left me on hold so I called back and the second time she hung up on me. Guess I'll be heading back to my old optometrist uptown. They must have so much business they can't handle it all. Must not need any more.

I think this place is lucky for how convenient its location is for a lot of St. Bernard residents. The service and overall customer experience has never been good. Although the actual doctors are very kind and caring, the front desk receptionists are extremely rude and unwelcoming.

Receptionist doesn't acknowledge anyone who walks in the door. I've seen 3 different parties walk in and she doesn't stop clicking on the computer to at least give eye contact or any sort of "welcome." Head doesn't even budge. Perhaps she doesn't understand the root of the position titled "receptionist." Someone who is receptive. Not a very welcoming experience and the dying fiddle leaf fig may be a metaphor for the experience we're to expect. By the time I reached this sentence, she ignored another person who walked in the door. I don't need bells & whistles when someone walks in, but some eye contact and maybe "hey, sign in here please" goes a long way. And when you do get her to speak to you, her attitude is very shitty. We cancelled on the spot and now going to a better location where the first point of contact isn't going to be rude and ignore people. Not worth our time & money.
