Didn’t get any service at all. Made my appointment through the booking website. Showed up the day of and no one was there. Called and no one answered. Extremely disappointed.
Edit: updated my review to three stars instead of one. It essentially was a snafu with the booking website. No fault of the owner, but still not my fault either. I do have to give him credit and say that when I got in touch with him he took the time to talk with me, and made every effort to make things right.
Ended up finding a barbershop much closer to home. But based off of his response to the difficult situation, I would definitely recommend him to others.
This is a top notch place to get your haircut and/or beard trimmed. I walked in on Friday and didn't have an appointment but Ben was able to seat me. I got a haircut (bald mid drop fade) and a beard trim, and Ben killed it!I am very particular about my beard and hair, as well as The Barber I approve of cutting and trimming said hair, so I spoke with him about my expectations and asked if he was capable of handling the task, he said yes. He was very confident in his ability and went right to work. The end result was phenomenal and this guy truly knows the art of barbering.I highly recommend South Beards and Blades Grooming Lounge. Southern beards and blades is an absolute hidden gem right there in Broussard. Ben and the crew are professionals both with their environment and their services. Low key place that can make you feel high maintenance. 10/10 must.Services: Beard conditioning
