Dr. Nguyen was really great. He has a weird way of shaking my cheek when he's doing the numbing shot that I've never had another dentist do before. Weird at first but then I realized he had finished the numbing shot and I didn't feel a thing. GENIUS! I told him he should tell all the other dentists. Kelsey was his assistant and she made sure my son got to the other side of the building to his appointment and she was really sweet. They took really good care of me. Also I watched Kelsey change gloves probably three times. Dr Nguyen probably twice. My eyes were closed the majority of the time because I have a phobia of the dentist so it was probably more than that. That's really cool because most people don't realize how much cross contamination occurs even when wearing gloves. actually especially when wearing gloves. Also my son saw Dr. Friedman and he was really great. the red headed nurse did lie directly to our faces and say they were out of balloons (why like who even does that) but the very nice receptionist up front quickly went and got him one. My son used to go to bippos and those people were horrible and almost caused him a severe phobia and since we've been using Louisiana dental center in boutte he's gotten a lot better.
