Dr. Chip Bankston is excellent. He is compassionate and cautious with recommending surgery. I had a humerus “spiral break”, with hairline fracture up to shoulder and hairline fracture down to elbow. It was the most painful accident I’ve ever had. After 2 weeks of watching the break being in line for it to mend on its own, the third week the bones displaced and surgery was needed. Very long metal plate with about 20 screws to align the bones, I am no longer in pain but in Physical Therapy 3 days a week. That will go on for a good while but improvement is being made. Very professional, extremely helpful, and efficient getting me through sign-in, x-ray, the appointment, and discharged. Dr. Bankston knew exactly what I was trying to explain relating to my injury and has me on the right track. Highly recommended him and BR Ortho Clinic.
