American Lock and Key was recommended to me via a co-worker who had used them for years, and they lived up to that recommendation. I was looking to have a digital front door lock installed and the house we had purchased to be rekeyed. I went to the store initially to talk to someone in person and they were super helpful as to what type of digital lock I needed to get to be compatible with the holes cut in the door for the type of lock that was already installed and they were able to schedule someone to come to the house to work on it very promptly. I've used this place in the past, but today I went in there because I had a fairly damaged key that I didn't have a spare for. I didn't have much hope for a replacement. The gentleman behind the counter said he could try to make a duplicate but couldn't guarantee it would work. Well I got home and the key works great. I want to give a big thank you to the man behind the counter, because now I don't have to get a grinder and destroy my lock!

Mr. Thomas is the locksmith superhero you never knew you needed! He arrived faster than a pizza delivery and fixed it without any drilling drama. Spare keys? He whipped those up on the spot like a key maestro. Do not waste your time and call anyone else out. I called 2 other locksmiths who came out and were not able to help, luckily the 2nd called a friend who recommended Mr.Thomas and I wish I just had the real professional the first time. I could not be more grateful and impressed.
