I recently rescued a pup from the shelter. The adoption came with a free exam. I chose Abita Vet because its close to my house. The facility is clean and well kept. All of the staff was friendly and accomodating. The entire team works swiftly. I did adopt a heartworm + pup and the doctor went over ALL of my options with me as well as heartworm prevention options. She also took the time to answer some questions I had. I did not feel rushed at all. We were there for less than an hour.
