Remolding a kitchen and spending $4,000 on countertops. We have had this company out to our residence a handful of times. They were finally installed in December, when stepping back looking into our kitchen your eye noticeably draws to the right side of our stove. The slab is much higher and severely out of level, you can drop a marble on it and it will roll off the counter. We had two gentlemen out on 1/31 to check the slab. They had noticed how out of level it was and stepped outside to what our assumption was to call someone higher up. They then cam back inside and notified us that they would be able to take all the slabs out and reinstall them, we just needed to call the office to get on the schedule. 2/1 we had the original installers come out and they stated that there is nothing they can do to fix the issue without having to remove the cabinets, and that there was nothing they could do. They insured us that it would not mess up the backsplash that is to be installed. It in fact will mess up the backsplash, making it about 1/2 inch off along the wall (see below). We heard two different sides of a story and they had not resolved the issue and do not seem to mind that they have unhappy customers. If it stays the way it is, there needs to be some compensation. After burning the silicone and pulling out a handful of unnecessary shims, my father-in-law and I eventually leveled them ourselves as you can see from the photos. If two guys who have never worked for a counter-top installer can figure it out, that should say a lot about their crew. We ended up filing a claim w BBB and never received any compensation for doing their work.
They were so easy to work with and completed the job in the time frame given to us. The granite is beautiful! The installers were also professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.
