So my appointment was at 10:30 and apparently they had over booked me ( I may be wrong) cause they had just got done with a dog so that family left then they were working with another animal and I was waiting in the room for quite a while and had to ask how much longer it would be before my cat could be seen for what was supposed to be a quick visit
I was heading to Buffalo Trace to help my cat, Gumbo, that we found on the side of the street. I, at first, had traveled to the wrong place. I called explaining what had happened, and they moved our appointment from 10:30 to 11:00! After that, they took great care of us and Gumbo, treated her with care and friendliness. The staff were experienced in their respective fields, and our cat feels much better.
They even have a donation box for those who can't afford all medications! I completely recommend going here, especially for an animal in need. Be prepared to provide lots of information.
I travel from Lexington and am always happy to do so. I’ve always had a positive experience at Buffalo Trace. The staff is caring and compassionate. Most importantly, I feel like I can trust them. It does not feel like they are eager to charge you with a large bill like other vet offices I’ve been to. They always go over prices first (before charging), always give you options, and do not pressure you to move forward with anything you’re not comfortable with. I feel like they truly have the best interest for my pup and I!
