Over the last 20 years of my adult life, I have developed a great relationship with the staff. They are always helpful and willing to answer my questions, even the silly or overprotective ones. During this 20 years, I have had to put to sleep many pets. The kindness and compassion of the staff at the Alexandria Pike Animal Hospital helped with the process. My pets are like family and they're in the best hands here.“

“Dr. Seaman is a wonderful veterinerian who has cared for both of our dogs since we brought them home as puppies. I have found him to be a good listener and is very concerned about the welfare of my dogs. The few times we had issues, he explained the problem thoroughly and prescribed appropriate medicine. Unfortunately, these medicines are not cheap, but they never are. We went to another veterinarian with our previous dog and the costs were the same. We are extremely pleased with Dr. Seaman and his entire staff. The waiting room and exam rooms are spotless and they are very caring, thorough vets.“

I finally found Plum Street and won’t trust anyone else with my cats, their care for people and their animals is unmatched. As soon as you walk in, Leanne knows who they are caring for and gets you into a room. Dr. Bob spends a great deal of care in getting to know what the problem is with your animal and giving you several opinions or options of what the problem might be and what can be done. Before Plum St Vet Clinic, I felt most vets I brought my cat to didn’t really care to look deeper into my cats issues. We are so grateful for Leanne and Dr. Bob and all the great work they do!“

“We've been taking our animals to Dr. Huesing since 1990. We've moved several times since then and keep getting further away from his office. We live in Crittenden now, but I still make the trip to see Dr. Huesing. The office has always gotten us in quickly and the prices are very reasonable. He won me over when my kids were toddlers and we got a puppy from the pound. Two days after we got him home he started getting sick and was diagnosed with Parvo. We couldn't afford a huge vet bill and, long story short, Dr. Huesing kept the puppy at his office for 2 nights and gave the puppy medicine. He only charged me $30 for the medicine when the time came to put him out of his misery. He can be a little gruff at times, but it's only when he thinks you are doing something that is not in the best interest of your pet. He will tell you what he thinks, which I appreciate. I've tried other vets closer to home at times through the years, but I never cared for any of them as much as Dr. Huesing. His years of experience have made him very knowledgeable and I'm sure he's seen it all. His staff has been with him just about as long and they are wonderful as well.“
