“My cocker spaniel lost his hair. Our vet, at the time, could not determine what was wrong with him. I took him to Dr. Charissa Lane and she was able to draw blood and diagnose him suffering from an over active Thyroid. She prescribed medications to get him back to good health. Almost immediately his hair began to grow. The most amazing change has been with his personality. He's like a young puppy again! He wants to play again“

“Now my permanent vet! I have a cane corso and other vets did not know how to deal with him! They frightened him but this is a fear free clinic she took the time to get to know him and it went soooo good!“

“I've been pleased with Pewee Valley Vet Center, they have been great with both of my dogs and seem to really care about my questions.
Only thing I dislike, is that I don't get to see the dr when they are checking out my dog on our annual physical and shots and that's the only thing that I don't like.
However, with the many questions and concerns I had on my last annual, the dr did come talk to me and answered all my questions and concerns about my dogs!!
I would definitely recommend them for your pet!!“

“My current & long-time Vet no longer does surgery. So, when my dog needed to have bladder surgery done to remove several bladder stones, my Vet recommended Dr. Oliver at the Shelby Veterinarian Clinic. And Dr. Oliver was wonderful with my dog. He was so thoughtful & caring of both my dog, and of all my worries & concerns. I would definitely recommend Dr. Oliver to anybody looking for a caring vet. Also, the staff there was very helpful.“

“My visit with Dr. Thompson was excellent. I learned so much about my horse and ways to make his life healthier. My horse had cellulitis and Dr. Thompson was very thorough in educating me on how he probably got it and how to prevent it. My horse is recovering very well. I can't thank Dr. Thompson enough. “I have been going to this vet for a couple years now. I genuinely love the people that work here and have had the best experience! I won't deny, there was a time when I first started going that I got hassled for an overweight cat (but realistically, after taking a step back, I understand this is coming from a place of care & I wouldn't want my cat to have irreversible health issues because I wasn't well informed). BUT, I always feel listened to and feel like these people truly care about my pets as much as I do. They can be kind of expensive (most vets are tho) but I feel like it's worth the price because they go the extra mile. For example, I took one of my fur babies the other day for suspicious behavior and they've called me two days in a row to check on her. Love this place and their staff!
