I’m leaving a 5 star review for this Salon Let me explain… I called because I wanted to help my daughter. She’s 17 and her and her best friend wanted to get their hair cut together for the 1st time ever without their parents, without me lol. Making a long story shorter Great Clips was supposed to cut her hair the other day I made the appointment and called them to let them know that she would be there she gets there and they said she’s not on the list. So she don’t get her haircut and then she’s thinking she’ll go to fantastic Sam’s instead so I call them and they say Nope she needs to have a adult with her to have her haircut. She’s 17 why can’t she get her haircut without a parent that baffled me so I start googling for hair salons near us and I find Salon 480 I called with little hope left and spoke to I think Kristen She was an Angel I explained what happened and she was easy to talk to I could tell that she was kind over the phone. With the sweetest voice she says I’ll take care of them both. She’s going to see them today at 6. The only thing I forgot to ask was about the pricing but I assume it would be about the same price as fantastic Sam’s and going by how sweet she was on the phone I think she will understand that the kids won’t know exactly how things work and she’ll be able to give them the BEST first experience going without their parents as soon to be seniors. Her kindness expelled all my worries and I have complete trust in this salon. So thank you Kristen in advance!

I've lived in Shepherdsville for 5 years now and this is the best place I've found so far for a haircut. They are cash only but it's only $15 for a cut, plus tip if your inclined. Wait time is usually minimumal or non-existent. I used to go to Razors Edge and they charged more plus usually gave a quick cut that was basically the same no matter what you requested and just seemed like they wanted the next person in the chair. The last two times I was at Hairport I had a nice scissor cut with good conversation. My wife has even said how much better my hair looks since coming here. If your looking for a nice local spot to get an excellent cut, I recommend the Hairport Barber Shop.
Very nice place. They were unfortunately closing for the last time when I visited them in July 2023. The owner died. Sad to hear. It was a decent experience.
I like this place for my haircut more recently. I even drive quite a Waze out just to get my trim on. Friendly employees, nice shop, clean etc. Also next to Bullitt Blends so heck ya!
Desperate, I took a niece's referral and went to see Tammy at The Look in Shepherdsville for a cut and style. My hair offers challenges, perhaps the biggest being that I have gone from a woman with hair so thick that stylists groaned when they saw me to hair so thin I groan every time I saw it. I gave Tammy carte blanche to make my hair look thicker. She did a FANTASTIC job. My friends, and even my husband (who is one of the "women's hair must be long" men) said that I look 10-15 years younger! I'll take it... I will be back to visit Tammy, too!
I didn't go here but my daughter did. She had back surgery and can't drive yet. Amanda colored her hair and it looked fabulous

I absolutely love my newest tattoo. I have been wanting this done for about 4 years now but hadn't found the right artist until i met Punz Timas. After talking to him and seeing his previous work i knew I found the right guy. He took my vision and made it better then I even imagined. He incorporate and added things he instinctively knew was me just from a brief conversation we had about what I wanted and the meaning behind it. I am still in shock at the amazing detail and the quality of his work. He has a style that I have not seen around here and he is a true artist. We did this whole thing in one session. He works so efficient and has a light hand. I was a little worried about getting it done on the ribs but it hurt less then some of my other tattoos. I am glad I waited 4 years to find the right person for the job. If anyone needs any work done you need to hit up Punz and the House of Ink KY.
Sewer Doctor to the rescue ! That's how we felt when Tim pulled up with supplies and tools to get the job done. He made a big sewer line replacement easy as possible. He done a great job, he knows his stuff. We are super pleased with a upgraded quality pipe along with dual clean out. His service is super fast when you need it. A couple of guys from this crew came out to my house to check a leak in my ceiling. Water line leak. Called TSP and they scheduled me immediately. MSD and LGE wanted them to wait another five days but TSP came anyway. They located the leak, dug to China with as little lawn disturbance as possible, repaired the line and kept me informed the whole time. Very professional. Mike Pich was the plumber on site. Cody and his team did a very nice job on extending our driveway while incorporating a sidewalk into the design we had in mind. Once the project got started, it went quick and mess free, ending with a very beautiful broomed and stamped concret area.
I live in a 70 yr old home and have tried other pest control companies. I had to cancel them because of the awful service. I then tried to do the pest control myself and found that I could not keep up with the maintenance and still had mice. I called Knockout Pest Control, Aaron came to assess what I needed. He explained all that he found and what was needed to control the problems. He explain everything in detail and let me decide what I wanted to pay for. I appreciated that he did not try to sell me services that I did not need. He helped try to save my 60 yr old maple tree that had carpenter ants and treated my garage door header for carpenter bees. It is nice to find an honest company and one that does what they say they will do. He is also working on the mice problem. Been going therefor along time. They are wonderful. They take good care of my teeth. My husband passed recently and for a year I was very busy taking care of him and wasnt taking care of my teeth
. Alot of work needs to be done to repair all the damage. They are fixing my teeth now and what they cant do they sent me to another dentist to finish what needed to be done. They are friendly and very professional.

They worked us in as an emergency, and the doctor and staff were great. Clean, open atmosphere. They also have a therapy dog, Peanut, which my daughter enjoyed very much.
Dr. Carroll and his staff are wonderful, makes you fee at home there. I was there a few days ago for teeth cleaning with Dana and she did a fantastic job! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Edit to my past review. This is a vet that cares. While my previous experience was not to their usual standard, the Owner has since made things right and really demonstrated their commitment. They recently worked me in for an emergency visit and help care for my hound. This is as of 9/4/2024. I do recommend this local vet and they do care.
