These kids are surrounded by strong, confident women and men who are ideal role models. The life skills that they are teaching these kids enable them to handle the hard world that they face outside of Gracie's walls.“

“Budo Traditional Karate is the absolute best for learning true Shotokan karate. More than that, they are family. I’ve never been comfortable around others and I have many faults. I have never felt anything but love and team spirit from all those in the dojo. I am no karate master. I’m a yellow belt. I was gone for some time during Covid and a surgery that went bad. I was embarrassed and scared to return. Open arms and pats on the back is all I received. I am improving now at quite a pace and feeling more and more comfortable and eager to attend each class.
