In the early 2000's after operating as a traditional agent for five years, broker Brad Cecil had seen the good, bad, and ugly parts of the local real estate market. Driven by those experiences, he founded Farmer's House in 2007 with the goal of providing real estate service that was held to a more professional standard with more professional results. In the early days of the venture, the going was tough. "It was difficult to convince people that we were a different kind of real estate company," says Cecil. Little by little, Farmer's House started having more and more successful sales. Each one led to another. Referrals built the business from a small start-up in 2007 to a record $24.8 million in sales in 2018.
