We went for live music. While the bands were hot and miss, I liked the set up because there wasn’t a time that music wasn’t being played. It was crowded and everyone was having a good time. Restroom was clean. The only issue I had was the smokers were surrounding the entrance/exit.

Vfw or veterans of foreign wars center located in the heritage creek neighborhood of Lousiville Kentucky. For those unfamiliar with vfw Halls they are a place to foster camaraderie among United States veterans. Most of them like this one has a hall/space for events and also a bar like setup for the members. Me not being a veteran what brought my family here was a dance recital for my 3rd bron daughter. The hall itself was pretty large and spacious. Out front they had a giant tank which the kids and mw enjoyed checking out. I did not check out the bar area much as it was an nfl Sunday with games and we had the kiddos so there was a good crowd. The members made nice and gracious hosts. The recital itself was hard to see. There stage isn't elevated very high and the tables and chairs make it difficult to see unless you are sitting at the very front. Overall any vfw post is great to see and any support or place to gather for our veterans is a positive.
