“I have become a big fan of Lopez Tree Service. Back in July, they did a great job removing two very large limbs that split from our tulip poplar and fell onto our dogwood and were very close to our electrical wires. We just had them come back today to finish taking down the damaged tulip poplar, which was a VERY tall 25-year-old tree. They got the whole thing taken down and cleaned up everything in just over an hour. (They will come back to grind out the stump next week.) It was amazing to watch the crew work--they function like a well-oiled machine and don't waste even a second! They were very careful to keep the tree off of my house as they took it down; they moved planters and flower pots out of the way before they started working and put them back when they were finished; and they cleaned up so well that my yard looked better when they left than when they arrived. With both jobs, Mr. Lopez and his tree crew got us scheduled quickly, showed up when they said they would, and charged us a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again whenever we need tree work--and we're going to contact them next about some landscaping. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

My relationship with Louisville Tree originated from buying our first home and never really thinking to look at the number of trees on the property line. Years ago a tree in our right-of-way died over the winter and needed to be removed. John recommended we call both LG&E and the state to have the tree removed before paying his company to have it taken down. Because of that honest advice I saved several thousands of dollars and we used them moving forward for all of our tree trimming business.

We've used them for the last several years for general tree trimming and they've always been exceptional to work with- always coming out multiple times for complimentary quotes, providing fast and efficient work, and lending knowledgeable advice regarding the health of our trees. Recently, one of our massive trees was brought to our attention as being very dangerous to both our house and our neighbor's. It was rapidly dying and LTS didn't feel comfortable leaving without recommending it was seriously trimmed if not removed. They would profit more from annual trimming, and in general it's my opinion that their intention is to always save trees where possible. We're very glad we reluctantly:) listened and had it fully removed. There was a section where one of the team's feet went completely through the tree.

Our house is in St. Matthews where the driveway and space for their team is very difficult. They never seem to lack a solution to get the job done, and our yard is always cleaner when they leave. The work is high quality and they take great pride in their services. Tree trimming is very costly regardless of who you go through, and rightly so- the equipment is expensive, insurance is required, and highly skilled workers put their lives at risk. I would hands down rather spend my money with a trusted company than cut cost corners. I would highly recommend this team.“

“This most recent set of storms left me with my neighbor's enormous 100 ft tree across my driveway and on my house on a Sunday morning. Having used Danka Tree service in the past to remove a dead tree, I immediately called them to see if they could help with this monstrosity. Mr. Danka called me back within a matter of minutes and was at my house that afternoon. He and his helper worked tirelessly into the evening cutting and removing branches and the tree trunk to free up my driveway and get the limbs off my roof so he could tarp it to protect as much as possible from the storms due that evening. He then returned to my property and worked two more days cutting, chipping, and hauling debris. He and his crew were always courteous and professional. “Hats off to Greg Deetsch, owner of Grasshoppers Landclearing and Tree service, Inc., 2405 Blankenbaker Rd in Louisville, Ky, and his team who recently removed a large OakTree and large Magnolia Tree in my back and side yard. Zach, Michael, and Austin did a superb job! They arrived promptly when scheduled and were very professional, courteous, cautious, and worked hard and steadfastly throughout the day. They removed the stump and cleaned up any remaining debris. It was a major decision for me to remove these trees. However, with some of the severe winds and storms we have encountered in the past few years and major damage throughout our city, I feared them falling and causing the same to my home. The peace of mind I feel and reduction in work and constant cleanup from the age of the trees made me realize it was definitely the right decision! If you have such concerns, give Greg a call.
