My 1st time going there and I winas fortunate enough to get Jessica as my massage therapist. She was great! She got all those knots and aches and pains right out of me and had me feeling loose as a goose! I will be going back!
The staff was very polite and respectful. The place was clean, and comfortable, as well. I got a 30 minute massage, which was $40, which is more affordable than elsewhere, as far as I have seen. This was my first professional massage, so I don't know what is reasonable technically. It felt very good. 30 minutes isn't really enough time to get a full body massage, so while parts of my back felt a lot better than before, it made the rest of my body feel much worse. That being said, I came out a lot calmer and felt a lot better. It was a peaceful place, that I felt calm just being inside. Parking was sort of a pain, so just be aware of that. I've been getting therapeutic massage for back and shoulder pain for over a decade. I have pretty high standards for a massage therapist, partly because my pain is chronic and I need real help (not just to feel good) and partly because for a long time massage was difficult for me to afford, so I needed it to make a difference when I could afford it. Donald, the practice owner and director of the school, is supremely professional and takes his work seriously. He's also easy to talk to if I want to talk, but will be quiet if I need silence.
