I hadn’t had a haircut in a while and was in desperate need, Mona made the experience comfortable and gave me a beautiful haircut that removed all of the dead hair while preserving as much as the length as possible and adding a super cute style! 10/10 would recommend

Mona has done my hair for about 21 years now (dance hair, prom hair, wedding hair, color/cut/style) and I wouldn’t know what to do if I didn’t have her as my stylist. She is so talented I just come in with ideas and she has fun creating something around those. Everyone there is a Master of their craft. Love the atmosphere and all the stylists there. The pics I have shared are of my most recent adventure with Mona.

I have long been searching for a place to get my hair done in Louisville. I've tried a few of the local salons based on my friends' recommendations with Z Salon, Le Bliss, and Blades around town. These spots were fun, but I never felt comfortable going there and always felt out of place. Enter Scissorhands. This locally owned and operated salon is run by the very lovely Mona who has been in the hair business for years. Mona is so knowledgeable and wise when it comes to taking care of your hair and does a beautiful cut. She was the first hair stylist that taught me more about the best way to style my hair and shampoo my hair. I am now able to better take care of my hair and I'm not intimidated by it. Thank you to Mona! (And yes, she has a great name!)
