We have done the puppy program, currently in the advanced obedience and then will do e-collar training when he’s old enough. As much as I hoped for a quick fix, John taught us that the solution wasn’t a magical formula, but understanding and raising our new family member for a lifetime. He has worked with us extensively, and has helped us navigate several twists and turns (including severe anxiety when she was away from us). The entire journey he has adapted to what Petra needed, and he continues to work with us as we watch her make steady incremental improvements. He probably teaches us more than he teaches her since we are usually the ones messing up! “We had the best experience 10 days ago when we adopted Zachary from the KY Humane Society East Campus. We went in just to see who was available. The facility is very clean and the staff is quite knowledgeable about the available adoptees. Very kind and friendly people! Kelli was our awesome adoption counselor and when we told her what we were looking for in a pet, she immediately knew Zachary (who is now named Zachary Binx and affectionately called "Binx" most of the time) was the one for us. She was so excited and told us all about him. We spent some time in the visiting room with him and fell in love. It was the end of the day so we couldn't adopt him, but we were back the next morning and couldn't wait to take him home. He is the perfect pup! Thank you so much for rescuing him so that he could rescue us. Binx is living his best life and loves the park, car rides, his toys, and of course, pup cups!“

“Love this office! Staff are all super! Friendly, attentive & work easily around a busy schedule to get you in quickly, including Saturday mornings. Dr Hill is awesome, has been great w all my pets thru the years. General visits & surgical needs all covered by one office is so convenient. Large, comfortable, clean waiting area. Parking in front. Easy access from several streets. Always beautiful window flower boxes out front. Highly recommend!!!“

“My puppy just finished his puppy class with Tyler and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Classes are affordable, Tyler is responsive to questions that we had outside of class and it’s clear that all of the staff are knowledgeable. The puppy class taught my dog foundational skills that we will build on in the adult classes that we will enroll him in. If you put the work in, you will definitely see results.“

“My family used Shively Animal Hospital for years, hated that place! Always a Long wait, Dr MaryJane Fush and the rest of her staff being rude as humanly possible. Absolutely ZERO compassion for the animals. THANK GOD I found Bannon Woods Veterinarian Hospital!!! Every member of their staff, from the receptionist to the Vet's themselves were very informative and friendly. Even without an appointment, these wonderful people were able to see both my dogs and the prices were better than Shively Animal Hospital also. Better service, Better Care, I'm Never going back to Shively ever again! Bannon Woods has earned my services from this day forward! Just make sure you make an appointment first. I'll remember that myself next time. I am highly grateful for them taking me anyways, they could have scheduled me an appointment and sent me on my way, but they didn't. And with the office visit, shots and vaccines for both dogs and even flea treatments and testing, I was in and out in under an hour and less than $450. (Again, remember that is for 2 dogs)“

He is my Bash's groomer and does an awesome job.We have been with Joel since Bash was a pup and now 2yrs. old.Bash is a spoiled Goldendoodle and Joel maintains him beautifully.He is pretty much on a routine twenty-eight day grooming schedule.Bash has a little "separation anxiety" but Joel knows how to soothe and calm him.He relaxes and walks him back.“

“Highly recommend. I spent close to $2000 at my regular vet without any results. Blue Cross ran tests (x-rays) found a blockage, watched him all day and prescribed meds for $358.00. My dog is getting back to normal after 3 weeks of complaining to my regular vet that something was wrong.“
