I wish this vet was closer to me so I could use them for all my pets. I came in with my rabbit after having issues with another vet. I went in needing them badly and they seen my rabbit right away. very professional and didn't talk over me. got him taken care of and he was feeling better the next day! do recommend. very nice people. friendly and understanding.

With a heavy heart, I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to my dog Otis a few days ago. While I’m obviously heartbroken 💔 I’m also incredibly grateful that he had Dr. Lazas as his veterinarian to help him cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Otis was a very opinionated, troubled dog, who wasn’t the least bit afraid to let his negative feelings about a person be known. He was intolerant of handling and a major bite risk (for which he always wore a muzzle in public). I must have tried out at least 1/2 dozen vets before finally finding Dr. Lazas. Otis had approved of none of them 😂 Yet despite the fact that Dr. Lazas had to poke, prod, and do all of the things vets have to do to dogs, he absolutely loved her ❤️ He would get SO excited when we’d pull into the parking lot, that he’d start his obnoxious high pitch whine (that drove me nuts 🤪). Otis came to me as a young adult dog, fully loaded with a long list of behavioral issues. Some of his issues were never truly “fixed”, as they were most likely a result of his poor genetics &/or his undiagnosed brain tumor. But by the time I found Dr. Lazas, I had him under control & well-managed, thanks to the COUNTLESS hours of training and behavior modification I had poured into him. Regardless, he was still not a dog who’d let just anyone handle him. I knew better than anyone how to read my difficult dog, and what he needed to be successful. Unlike every other vet we had tried, Dr. Lazas was the first vet who actually respected me enough to listen to what I had to say, and work with me to learn the most effective ways to interact with Otis. That was a game changer!! From day one, she always took her time with him, and made a point to establish a line of trust. Something no other vet had done. Trust and rapport was everything when it came to interacting with my boy. I’ll forever be grateful for how well she cared for him 🙌🏻 As long as Dr. Lazas is practicing, she’s stuck with me and my other pup, Hank! As well as any others pups I may have come into my life in the future. She’s truly one in a million ✨

Dr Lazas is very thorough and upfront about care needed. She and her staff are very professional and caring, getting to learn about thier patients. Many of my friends have trusted Dr Lazas with thier pets for years, so when I move across the bridge to Louisville this was the obvious choice.
