I am a fan of "DR. Mark". There are a few reasons for this, the first being that the first words out of his mouth during the visit did not revolve around setting up a "treatment regimen" which with other chiropractors seems to translate to, "milking the poor sucker in pain". Dr. Mark was different, his approach with me was 1 visit weekly for a couple weeks, now, by HIS recommendation, I am seeing him biweekly. My point in saying all that is that he doesn't seem to be in it for the money, and he has never tried to"upsell" a treatment our service to me. Muscles and bones are things that each of us need and if we think about what purpose they serve I'm sure we are grateful since we would be useless blobs of flesh without them! Yet when they start making their presence known, it is usualyl in the form of pain! When those times arise, the options are 1. Suffer through 2. Find some pharmaceuticals 3. Try home remedies- Heat and Ice are my favs 4. Find a professional who can help. I must admit that I have done options 1-3 many times, and I do not hold most Chiropractors in very high regard because of negative past experiences.
