During water heater replacement, unbeknownst to us, the old water heater was not completely drained. My Dad removed the valve at the bottom of the water heater when the water coming from it was down to a trickle & the "lime dam" broke (very hard water) and about 20 gallons of water gushed out all over our utility room floor with a fairly large amount running down into the vent and into the ductwork in the house. A main ductwork line eventually collapsed into our concrete crawlspace and spilled water into it as well. The technicians removed all of the water from the crawlspace and thoroughly dried it out using industrial fans. They replaced the affected ductwork... read full review
