CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group – Express Care

I’ve been here many times and had a great experience, but today I did not have a good experience with PA Rebecca Gayheart. I had been given a cup of water by the nurse who took my vitals and when Rebecca entered the room she told me I shouldn’t be drinking water if I’ve been vomiting, not caring to ask how long it had been since I’d vomited, and took it from me and dumped it out in the sink. She was not attentive to my concerns and I felt very dismissed and like I was not being listened to. I went on a Sunday due to dizzy spells. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me a full work up with the equipment and labs they had available. EKG / Blood pressure / Vitals / Balance / Viral testing / Etc. They made me feel comfortable that my issue was caused by vertigo and not something more serious. Awesome for a Sunday walk in clinic with very little wait time. I would highly recommend.

Express Care visit: front of office staff as well as the Doctor were all very nice and friendly taking plenty of time for my exam which also included an x-ray (across the hall) and return back to the Doctors office for comments on the x-ray. It was not busy and all of this took possibly 35 minutes.Highly recommend.
