Kris is fantastic and knows her stuff. I've always walked out of here loving my hair. I have fine curly hair, which can be challenging as I wear it straight and curly. Also had color done here too, which came out perfect! Highly recommend.

I moved to Lexington from Huntington a year ago and there wasn't much I missed to leave behind but this place. My partner and I both came here separate before realizing we came to the same place! Their cuts are so clean and we've never walked out with a job we weren't happy with. Kristin was always so kind and open for what I wanted to do and I loved to just allow her use her creativity on my color and she was a wizard! She always nailed my color dreams! I would plan my day around getting it done whenever she could fit me in and was flexible with timing. The shop and bathroom were clean and stocked. I love the new age art look and all the products they use are right there along the wall and local! It's a great local-owned business and it's really easy to want to come back just for the good conversations.

Inspiring space, cool vibes and people, and lots of great local art to enjoy while you wait! ;D Their sign may make it seem like it is a men's-only barber shop but don't feel turned away as they do ladies' cuts too! I have experienced judgment from salons in the past (my girlfriend and myself both) not to mention unsatisfying results so getting my hair cut was always an uncomfortable and grudging experience that eventually turned into me not going to get my hair cut at ALL, but... Kristin always cuts my girlfriend's hair and she is always more than happy when she leaves their shop, so I decided to give them a try myself. Kristin was friendly and welcoming and seemed to know exactly what I was wanting with me only having to say a few words. I wanted to chop all my long hair off and she was very conscious of the length the whole time. She was so efficient she was able to do both of our haircuts (we scheduled them on the same day but couldn't get them back-to-back) that we were out of there before it was even my scheduled appt. time! You rock Kristin! You might get lucky and get a walk-in but they do seem to fill up pretty fast (for a reason) so I would make an appointment ahead of time, which is easy and you don't even have to talk to a person to do it -- just make an appointment through their website! I think this place may have just turned into the *only* place I'll get my hair cut from now on.
