We've been taking our animals to Dr. Huesing since 1990. We've moved several times since then and keep getting further away from his office. We live in Crittenden now, but I still make the trip to see Dr. Huesing. The office has always gotten us in quickly and the prices are very reasonable. He won me over when my kids were toddlers and we got a puppy from the pound. Two days after we got him home he started getting sick and was diagnosed with Parvo. We couldn't afford a huge vet bill and, long story short, Dr. Huesing kept the puppy at his office for 2 nights and gave the puppy medicine. He only charged me $30 for the medicine when the time came to put him out of his misery. He can be a little gruff at times, but it's only when he thinks you are doing something that is not in the best interest of your pet. He will tell you what he thinks, which I appreciate. I've tried other vets closer to home at times through the years, but I never cared for any of them as much as Dr. Huesing. His years of experience have made him very knowledgeable and I'm sure he's seen it all. His staff has been with him just about as long and they are wonderful as well.

Best loving care any of my little friends ever received ! Especially my little Boy named Alex. He is a male feline and was at the edge of death. Due to wrong foods (canned tuna) he developed a urinary blockage that was terrible. They gave me very little hope he would survive the night much less any time after. But after the night at the emergency vet Dr .Huesing took charge of his rehabilitation. He told me straight up it was a gamble that he would live .But after being in the care of these wonderful people Alex survived ! And it was all due to the loving care he got there with Doctor Huesing and his loving staff. I cant say enough good about these folks but my little guy got a new chance at life and i learned alot what not to give your cat even though they love it !! Talk to your vet about things not to feed ..May save thier life ! thanks to these folks Alex has a great life .

I've been going to him for many many years. He's a wonderful vet & a super nice guy. You can tell he really loves animals. Great tableside manner. Prices are very reasonable too.
