Archie is a rescue and has always had issues with getting bathed. But these people took the time to make sure we knew what to expect and how to best prepare Archie for his appointment. In the end he came home a happy and clean pup. Thank you all so much for the help and kindness towards our beloved family fur baby.
PAWSH is a special place. I have two dogs who have been groomed at PAWSH dating back to at least 2018. Cubby and Barlo love going. Both very friendly, lovable dogs become excited to visit and are groomed beautifully and smell just the best. The Pom, Cubby, behaves like a champ and has always cooperated. Sibylle does a marvelous job grooming Cubby. He’s always adorable but even more so when he has a date with Sibylle. Barlo is a different story. He’s as loving and outgoing as Cubby and he loves visiting PAWSH but he can be quiet the little “devil dog” when it comes to doing anything to his face. Both dogs were adopted from the shelter so who knows what their past held. I know Barlo has the problem with his face because he has always been the same with me when I clean his face or attempt to brush his ears. There have been appointments where he had to be given extra time to calm down. Many times I’ve picked up Barlo and have gotten a less than perfect report but he still looked beautiful. And mind you, I got those less than perfect reports with a big smile and encouraging words and an appointment for the next groom. It’s like picking up your child from school and getting a bad report. Barlo is very treat motivated so I started taking a little bag of treats to use as incentives. Slowly, after everyone in the salon was so kind and patient with him, after 6-7 years last week I got the best report ever! Barlo had been the “Bestest Boy.” I felt like there should have been bells ringing and confetti falling from the ceiling! Through it all, everyone at PAWSH had been kind, encouraging and loving to both Barlo and me! Morgan grooms Barlo and she has been wonderful with him through all the trying times, the so-so times and then abracadabra he had a great day! Mind you, Barlo loves to go to PAWSH. May not love to have his face groomed but he LOVES everyone there. I share all this to let everyone know this salon cares. They care about my dogs, they care about me! I couldn’t be happier. Dawn is fabulous, such a light and portrays such joy, a delight to work with. I’ll be forever indebted to Morgan for working so hard with Barlo and then Sibylle who is just a pro and Cubby loves her! No dog parent can go wrong by selecting PAWSH to care for the dogs in their life.
Took my girl here today and they did a wonderful job. They were quick, did an awesome cut and the prices are great! ♥️
