After I explained some problems we had previously experienced, he spent well over an hour on a late Friday afternoon (when many OTHER contractors would be concerned about only about starting their weekend) performing multiple analyses of our heat pump, thermostat and blower. “After purchasing a new home in October, our furnace was working very poorly through the winter. I called Howe Heating & Cooling for some routine maintenance to hopefully improve heating for our house. Howe made it out the next day. Greg was extremely professional and made it a priority to clearly communicate with me at every opportunity. He quickly identified that our 20 year old furnace had some major safety issues and needed to be replaced immediately, showing me pictures and clearly communicating what was going on. He transitioned to providing a quote with a few different options for replacement. As this wasn't a small purchase, I reached out and acquired 6 different quotes from other HVAC companies in the area. While they weren't the cheapest quote (cheaper quotes used lower quality components and didn't seem super professional), Howe had the most competitive offer with higher quality AC/Furnace equipment while also leaving the most professional impression of all of the companies I interacted with. My wife and I ended up settling on a full new furnace and AC install. Howe got us in for the install 2 days later. Ended up that the particular furnace we selected was out of stock, and Howe provided amazing customer service upgrading the furnace for free (smart modulating with a smart controller) to keep on the original schedule so my family could get warm as soon as possible. We are extremely happy with the service and the improved heating/cooling in our house. This is my highest recommendation for using Howe Heating and Cooling for any HVAC needs.“
