Cedar hill has got to be my biggest regret of selling my home. Cassandra Dowers is very unprofessional. When I listed my home she came out to view and take pictures and was cursing just about the entire time. Which I was fine with originally being in the army it didn’t bother me but it definitely should have gave me a red flag to start off with. Then after receiving offers and not coming to terms because of closing cost, we were recommended to lower the price of our home even though we were told we could probably list it for more then our asking price. Cassandra neglected to disclose that the lower offers were coming from some of the original higher offered clients. Leaving money off of the table when we agreed to pay the closing cost of the buyers. Once finding this information out for myself I contacted a broker (Jennifer Rhodes and requested a new agent. Jennifer agreed that I should’ve been notified that the offer was coming from a previous offered client at a higher price she blamed it on Cassandra not knowing because she is” relatively new”. A week later Cassandra was still texting my wife and I and said I was being difficult and not responding. That would fault to the miscommunication on the brokers behalf to not respect me as a client and let her “realtor” know that she was being fired due to her mishandling/misrepresentation of our home and us as clients.I requested to have Jalen as a realtor because I knew him from school and know him to be a stand up guy and he was professional and did his best to carry a broken deal to the table. I then was given a 2 day notice of closing on my home. When I requested two weeks I was told I have a week to get all of my stuff out of my home. Not receiving any notice that we were nearing closing until that 2 day notice. I then told cedar hill I would not be selling my home because of their mishandling and Misrepresentation of the entire deal and then received text messages from their broker and Cassandra Dowers saying I was the one being difficult and was at fault for breaching a contract that I expected them to uphold as well. I then contacted the buyers realtor and everything went smoothly from there and we only wish that she could have received the entirety of the commission. Cedar hill has left an impression of unprofessional conduct from Cassandra Dowers and Jennifer Rhodes( broker) at Cedar hill.
Everything about my experience with them was awesome from start to finish . They sold my house and I also purchased the home that I’m currently living in from them.
Some of the best people I know! Very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.
