As a small business owner, I had a terrible experience with Hood & Associates after they acquired my previous firm. They immediately tripled the billing rates without providing any justification or additional value. Worse, when I tried to contact them regarding these outrageous charges, they were completely unresponsive. Emails and phone calls about billing issues were ignored, leaving me feeling frustrated and dismissed. It’s clear that customer service and transparency are not priorities for this firm. I would strongly advise against working with them.

Wait time for a callback is 2-3 days, 2 months behind in paperwork. Portal, which should be easier, is ironically more difficult and confusing than the traditional in-office meeting. They’re impossible to reach or to rely on. This is extremely concerning for a business that is supposed to be timely and be responsible for many of your legalities and books etc. Be cautious when signing their contracts to do business with them. What a shame this company has been and what a horrible company to have taken over an excellent one before it. After years of going here, and recommended, will firmly stay clear of this place moving forward.
