“Harco Fence and Deck is the best! In the summer of 2020 Harco ripped out our old chain link fence, dug out the cement footings for that fence, and made our back yard wonderful with a 6' high cedar wood fence with wide gates on the north and south sides of our backyard. Although weathered (which we really like), the fence is in the condition it was in when installed. There are no loose pickets, the gates work great, and there are no issues at all with the fence.Back to 2020, the year the COVID was closing everything down, Harco performed their work in extremely hot weather and took all the safety precautions due to the pandemic. The installers, all 6-8 or so of them, were professional, polite, neat, and answered our questions as they installed our fence. The job started on a timeline which required patience due to scarce supplies in our area, but during the quoting process the estimated start and finish date were really close to both the start and finish date of the actual work. During the time between estimated and actual start dates, Harco remained in contact with us. That really impressed us about their customer service.I went online to Harco's website tonight because of a small deck project we are thinking about they doing in the future. I started looking at the pictures of their various completed jobs and the fence pictures reminded me of a few years ago. Those pictures tell the story of what you are going to get with the work they do. So do the reviews I read. That is why I decided to write a review about the work they did for us a few years ago and if we are still happy with their work. Yes, we are 5 Star Review Happy!“

“The words "I want to make sure you are happy" were said to me every time I saw/spoke with Joe Letzig, owner of Joe's Fence Contractors. And he was a man of his word. From start to finish, if something needed clarification (i.e. reuse of caps on top of posts, premixing the concrete, etc.) Joe made sure that my wishes were respected and honored. The quality of the work was excellent. Some of his crew had been with him for decades, so the craftsmen on site knew how to build fences. The materials were beautiful red cedar and good quality. Joe’s Fence is a locally owned small business not a large company with high overhead, which means Joe can usually come in below his larger competitors, some of whom may question whether a fence can be bult with quality materials and methods at Joe’s prices, but I assure it can be. So, you can spend more for a fence, but you do not need to. One thing you may want to consider is your timeline. If you need to have a fence demolished and rebuilt in a short timeframe (say same day), a small business may not always be able to hit that deadline, but I think Joe will tell you his window and not promise a delivery date he cannot hit, so be up front and tell him, "I need this job finished by such and such a date." I did this with Joe when our fence was about half completed (day 2), and by golly, he brought in extra crew and they hit the mark I set. No frills with small business, no high-impact marketing, no massive overhead, minimal staff resulting in personalized service.
