Amina was so amazing!! But so was everyone!!! From me calling at opening to see if I can get in right away and they were so kind plus quick to fit me in. Amina was so kind and understand that I had a baby with me. I’ve never in my almost 8yrs of getting nails had someone be kind and understanding plus helpful. She let me have my hands when needed and was still quick but precise with my nails. Asked if I needed help and even another working (I sadly have forget her name) mother took my little one when it came to the design part of the manicure process. I had my nails done at another salon about a week before coming here; I had tips with dip powder but the dip was applied so thick that my nails looked unnatural and three of them had already popped off. I called Urban Polish and they were kind enough to squeeze me in the very same day.
When I came in, I explained that I just wanted the old nails removed and told them exactly what I was looking for. They absolutely nailed it! This is honestly my favorite my nails have ever looked. I’m now on week two and there’s minimal grow-out, zero lifting and they still look super natural — not thick at all.
I am updating my original review from two stars to five. After a less than ideal first experience, I was invited back to fix my dip manicure. Athena did a fabulous job (she was not my tech on my first visit)- she was kind, took her time and a week later my nails still look great. The willingness to fix a mistake and the great customer service go a long way for me! Pic is after a week of wear, and I work with my hands a lot. I’ve been back time and time again and have continued to receive quality work.
