I had twin sick kiddos in my care on the weekend. One is very scared of doctors and the other is prone to tantrums due to developmental delays. We went to the centracare in Orange city. Brent PA was wonderful with both of them. He even sang to them and helped carry one out to the car because she didn’t want to leave. I was exhausted after being up overnight with sick kids and this was the most compassionate thing anyone has ever done just simply helping me get both kids safely out to the car.
The staff were very kind. The wait was pretty awful; an hour in the waiting room, and an hour in the actual exam room after my vitals were taken. I only noticed it was that long because my watch told me to get up and move at each one-hour mark. I had a book on my phone to keep me entertained and not annoyed, so it was all good. Doc was awesome; I could tell she was pretty harried by the day, but was very pleasant, and took good care of me. I’ve been to this location a few times- always clean, always kind staff… just always a lonnnnng wait.
I arrived at this location tonight at 6 minutes before closing with my son who dislocated his knee. I was met with care, concern and professionalism that was so heartwarming, I only wished I could have given them all something other than my verbal thank you.
We pulled up and honestly I was afraid with it being so close to closing that they would have turned me away, but no, they took their time with him, got xrays done and sat with us both to guide us toward the next steps. My son, my heart - was taken care of tonight. I am thankful.
