Earlier this week, I found myself in a dilemna. I had to see a bone specialist in Pratt, KS and then take one of my French Bulldog girls to Wichita both on the same day. I live 1.5 hours from both places. I knew I had no choice but to take my Frenchie with me to Pratt and then go to Wichita but I couldn't take her into the doctor with me and certainly not leave her in the car. When I called this vet clinic, Dr. Bergner answered the phone herself. She was quite friendly and when I explained my situation, she agreed to board my dog for 4 hours while I was at the doctor. I traveled to Pratt recently to go pheasant hunting with some local friends. During one of the hunts, my GSP stepped on a large thorn that merged deep into his paw, and I was not able to remove it. My friends referred me to Main Street Small Animal Veterinary Clinic. Luann took our call late in the evening and agreed to see my GSP at 8am the next morning.
After a quick check-in, Luann quickly assessed his paw and determined that it would require sedation to remove the thorn.
