I’ve bought many eyeglasses here over the past 10 or so years and have been happy with all of them, and with Joe’s help. But I’ve especially liked my latest pair of February 31st wooden frame glasses.
I have been involved with many different purveyors of eyewear over the years. Joe Alvarez has been my stellar experience and now has my loyal following! He has been at Brookside Optical for 16 years. I am very indecisive and to place my trust in a new shop was challenging. I quickly knew I could trust Joe, not only for a fair purchase, but in his talent at recognizing the right eyewear for your face. He listens, is congenial, patient, and wizened by his years of practice. He gave me the confidence to "step out and try something new" and made the task of embracing change a pleasure.
