I wish I could give Alan, Mitch, and Titus 10 stars and not just 5. They came over to fix an issue with our freezer and check on a problem with our 30 year old furnace, which turned into a highly detailed recommendation for a new, high-efficiency HVAC setup. They answered every single question I had about our new HVAC system, installed it perfectly and meticulously made sure everything was working correctly, and even came over multiple times (even once on the weekend) to do some troubleshooting for a latent issue that ended up being a short-cycling problem caused by our thermostat. Our refrigerator died the other night. I called Abel's Appliance Service (NOT to be confused with Able and Ready of Leon KS) the next morning. He was recommended by a church friend. Alan made us his first call even though he had some A/C customers waiting. It was a cool morning, so they were fine. He was able to give us a quick 15 minute MacGyver-fix for the fan that cools the compressor and condenser, while ordering a new fan motor to install today. Our food was saved, and so was the cost of a new refrigerator that an unscrupulous repair person might have tried to sell. Give him a call @ 265-8884
