WM - Miami County Transfer Station

Our service is fantastic, our drivers are good!
They always try to set the can back, especially on windy days, they take a moment to move it back further from the road, so it doesn't blow into the road.
We have great curbside service!

The downside is, WM keeps increasing their bills, even when other waste services don't!
They increased due to fuel surcharge, when gas was at a premium, I get that.
But, their bills get higher every year.
There are cheaper services out there.
I JUST LIKE the service I get with WM!

I also REALLY wish they still had all of the recycling bins eeasily accessible at the transfer station.

I have gone to this transfer station several times, both with my husband and without. I have always been treated with friendliness and professionalism in person and on the phone. As a female, I appreciate that they don't talk down to me or treat me like I don't know what I'm doing.

TIP: Don't rely on the website for information. Call them to verify hours, policies, COVID precautions, etc. Currently they ask that you bring your own helmet & safety equipment.

It's where the trash trucks go to dump their trucks. Feels like a construction site. You get weighed, put on a hard hat and vest, unload, reweigh and pay.

I took 1600 pounds of cut down tree. Will go back again soon.
