“I contacted them to remove a bunch of bush stumps and a few small tree stumps from our back yard. He was quick to come out and give us a quote, quick to respond, very friendly. Came out a few days later and did the work. It was pretty easy, he was communicative, reasonably priced, and he got rid of all the stumps so now we can lay grass down. Probably the easiest contractor we have worked with, it was all very seamless and simple. I would highly recommend!“

“Pine trees that provide a sound and light barrier between our HOA and Hedge Lane were dying from both fungus and Zimmerman beetles. We had to remove a number of them that died. Paul diagnosed the problem and is providing treatments to save the remaining trees. Our trees look very much better than trees in adjacent HOAs.“

“Affordable Tree Care was the perfect tree-service company to hire for our needs. We have 2 very large trees in our backyard (oak & elm) which were in desperate need of trimming. There was a lot of dead wood hanging, and occasionally falling, into our backyard and neighbor's yards. Our house does not have great access, which makes trimming/removal pretty difficult and drives up the cost. This company's estimate came in at less than half of what 2 other major tree service companies quoted. Every worker handled themselves professionally, no damage was done to the house (they are a fully insured company even if this did happen), and they left my yard exceptionally clean after the job was finished. I don't think I'll use anybody else in the future. Thank you so much for the quality work!“

I would have probably picked them anyway and will toss my three bid rule next time I need tree work. Fair. Fast. Fantastic. Tim, Scott and crew were pleasant neat and worked out a compromise trimming that satisfied my wife and me. The tree won't get better, but we'll get a few more years from it.“

“I had a 61" maple cut and needed the stump removed. The gentleman that I talked to said that it would be no problem and we booked an appointment for a month out. (Seems each company that I called was 3 to 4 weeks out as was this company) The rain that we had pushed this another month out. They showed up in a newer vehicle and two newer machines and set to work. 5 hours later the stump was gone.Now let me say that the tree was 61" at the cut and under the dirt was probably at least another 40" wider. I picked this company because of the information that they provided and the vehicle that they showed up in.“

“R C Lawn and Tree took down a huge maple tree in our back yard today in about six hours. They left the tree stump just as we asked and did an amazing job of cleaning up all the debris. The drove equipment through our regular-sized fence gate over stiff mats that they laid down protecting the walkways and vegetation under them. They used a cherry-picker type of machine to reach ~30 feet in the air to lift their man safely in a bucket to cut the tree into pieced that they lifted out of the back yard with another clawed piece of equipment. They then loaded everything into a truck and took it away after cleaning up our yard and putting everything where it was before! They did this several thousands of dollars cheaper than another bid we got!“

“We had a dying silver maple that was rotting out, and I was really worried the next storm would finally topple it onto our house. Matt was at a Grandview Chamber event and we got to talking about my tree, and he came by the next day to give it a look and sent over a quote. We only have a small gate which prohibited getting big machinery into our backyard, so when he mentioned a crane, I must admit, I was a little worried. Matt explained everything and made me feel so much more comfortable with it, and surprisingly, it didn’t cost a fortune. The team was efficient, considerate of all our neighbors, and cleaned up so well you can’t even tell they were here cutting down a whole tree!I can’t say enough about how smooth of a process this was. OH! And I mentioned in our conversation that I had a senior dog so I wanted to make sure he was let out right before they got there so he had time to go potty, and not only did I receive a text when the team was headed our way, Matt called personally because he had made a note about my dogs.If you need tree work, I highly recommend Cartwright Tree Care.“
