This farm is run by students learning about sustainable agriculture and although it is not certified organic, the students are taught and use all organic methods. The produce is sold at the Overland Park Farmers Market and also to the Rolling Prairie CSA (which is a wonderful value if you join the CSA). All the campus food waste is collected by students and put into this farm's impressive composting operation. The students also have a sustainability committee that gets to delegate funds toward different sustainable initiatives to make the campus better. It is a great program.
