I always get a welcome greeting when I walk in the door. They truly care about the comfort of every customer. Case in point - last visit, I had trouble getting out of the waiting room chair...I am a large woman with bad knees. I was embarrassed that I had to ask for help up. It was handled with grace and compassion and when I came in for my appointment today, they had replaced the chairs with 2 comfortable couches that I was able to sit comfortably in and get up from. “Very chill, really good with my hair! I liked them a lot will be going back! At first I was skeptical because the person I usually went to was not good at working with my hair Type, I am mixed, and then the last time I was with my old stylist, she messed up my hair so bad I had to chop it all off right before an birthday trip to a different state. Then the next person I tried did my hair so bad that the fully braided bundles that were supposed to be braided into my hair fell out. So I was worried this shop wouldn’t be able to work with my hair, also to add I have really bad Psoriasis and I didn’t want to gross people out. I am not sure who it was that did my hair, but she was so good. Usually my scalp hurts with other braiders and the lines don’t look as good, but the lady who did it was so gentle and even got out some more stubborn parts of my psoriasis and didn’t seem disgusted at all. On top of it all it didn’t take too long (to get box braids with other braiders it usually took 8-12 hours) but with her it only took 4-5 hours. And these braids are far smaller than what I usually get. And it was a great price! Spent 248 after taxes. And was able to afford a tip. Which was surprising because dusky people charge 350 for bad service. I was recommended to this place by my boss. And I think I’m going to have them as my Permanent stylist. Thank You so Much!“

“I have been going to Emily for over a decade and she is exceptional at highlighting my dark, thick, somewhat unruly hair. When I first came to her, I had tried many “high-end” salons all over the city and ended up with fried, straw-like hair that I never thought would grow beyond my shoulders. I was also spending so much time and money on extensions and products to achieve a long-haired look. But since Emily started coloring my hair, it grows inches between visits and is long and healthy.
