We have the annual maintenance plan with polestar that comes with the heating/AC tune up which also comes with the annual plumbing inspection. The technicians are always polite and professional, which is important because my family is typically at the house at the same time. Recently, Rico completed a plumbing inspection for us and did a great job. He was able to explain some things he found and advised recommendations he had. He also mentioned that our water pressure was low and offered to change it based on our preferences. We will continue to use polestar because the price is competitive. And we feel we get a lot of value from them.
James came to our residence at the A/C wasn't working. He looked inside the indoor unit and looked at the outdoor unit. He asked me to smell the outfoor unit as the fan wasn't running and he said it smelled hot. There was no smell of it being hot. James then told me the compressor probably burned up as the fan wasn't cycling and we needed a new units both inside and outside. He said someone would call me to discuss. While waiting, I decided I needed a second opinion. I called Mr. Plumber, Inc who was highly recommend. Jesse came out and replaced the capacitor. Jesse saved us over $10k plus as James from Polestar didn't even take anything apart and was making decisions by glancing at the equipment. Thank God for Jesse and Mr. Plumber, Inc. for being HONEST and not taking advantage of us. Not to mention the biggest waste of a $99 service call for James to do absolutely nothing. CASEY PHILLIPS
