    I needed to take my cat here for a removal of an ear polyp. Things were a little confusing with the construction going on, but there was someone at the door directing me where to go to check in. The student that was assigned to me was amazing, very polite and thorough in her care and explanations. She even got my kitty an appointment with someone in Opthalmology which was very interesting as my cat had corneal scarring from before I adopted her. I loved learning more about her!     I think my cat was provided okay care? I’m not really sure. I became pretty frustrated when they had a discussion with me about all the reasons they wanted to start an IV right away… but then seemed shocked 8 hours later when I asked about the IV (vet stated they were about to start it). I dismissed this “miscommunication” as a fluke, but then it kept happening. I don’t blame the students at all because most of these issues were with the Vets themselves. I also understand that an emergency department has to triage cases and manage many patients at once. However, they told me a specific time to get my cat when I called earlier that afternoon.     The day of the surgery they were supposed to call pre and post surgery. I never received either call. The surgery was in the morning. I finally called at 130 to see if my dog was alive. The guy on the phone didn't know but he was going to have someone call me. At 430 I called back finally got an answer. The procedure had gone well and everything was fine. Dog was released into my care with no follow up instructions. I don't know if I'm supposed to take h back for a follow up or not. Tried to call a couple times over the course of a week. All in all I have been on hold for over an hour. With what I paid them for the surgery they can afford a receptionist.... read full review
