Our basement flooded and we had a few carpet quotes, went with Tyrer we were very impressed from start to finish. The owner Jason quoted us and he is very personable and friendly. Their pricing was the best and the quality was also great. He matched our carpet baseboard and painted them. His crew was very efficient and completed the install in one day. Couldn't be happier with our new carpet. Definitely would recommend Tyrer flooring to anyone!
I hired Tyrer 3 years ago to rip out carpet and put in hardwoods in the two front rooms of my house. They were recommended by a friend, and their quote was the most economical. I couldn't have been more pleased with the finished product, and they were able to match to my existing hardwoods at about 98% closeness. I was very happy. Fast-forward three years, I had a leak in my kitchen and hired a contractor to do a full kitchen remodel, including refinishing the entire first floor hardwoods. They did a poor job at refinishing the floors. There were cracks in the floors, the stain didn't match at all (despite the exact same stain color and brand), and there was pooling of stain everywhere. I actually texted Tyrer to come and give a second opinion on the bad work of the contractors I hired, which they gladly came to assess the situation. Twice. For 2 separate issues. I just thought all hardwood companies did about the same quality work - I was wrong. Tyrer even consulted for a friend who had similar issues with her floors. I've recommended Tyrer to all my friends, and if I'm not able to settle with my existing contractor, I am absolutely hiring them to redo the poor craftsmanship of the other company.
