The Walmart Vision Center is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. I’ve been here before to have my glasses adjusted or tightened with no issues.
But today was disappointing. The technician wasn’t busy but didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. When I asked if she could adjust my glasses, she said she might break them (wasn’t confident)—even though other techs here have done it several times before without a problem.
I left feeling concerned about the lack of confidence and training. This is basic service they normally provide, and today’s visit was a let down.
It had been years since I ordered new contacts, and I didn't want to wait forever for an appointment. I was able to do a walk-in appointment, and they accepted my insurance. The doc that was working that day was very professional and took his time in making sure my prescription was perfect for me. I was able to order my contacts there, and my prescription works great.
As a first time customer, I was impressed! The quality of their staff is unparalleled and their selection is fantastic. In fact, the manager of the optometry department sacrificed the first part of his lunch hour to assist me. I would recommend the Walmart Vision Center to everyone!
