The problem here with Scotch is they are the only game in town, and it shows. Folks working at the store are nice, but are quick to defer to "management. " pricing is high and quality low. Care in pressing creases is lacking and they don't seem to know how to starch shirts, only basic press the laundry. If I worked in KC or Topeka I'd take my dry cleaning and laundry there. That's disappointing considering I like to keep business local. Written concerns have gone unanswered so I can only discern lack of care or concern. So I'm stuck taking very little to Scotch. Competition would be healthy in Lawrence.
