I was with my former eye doctor since I was in 8th grade, and when he retired I had lots of hesitancy with finding a new eye doctor due to the respect I had for my former. Scheduling my appointment, checking in, and the staff all together being super kind helped my nerves immensely! Dr. Pinger was great and explained everything to me if I asked questions making me super comfortable with him and the staff. 3 weeks prior to going to see Dr. Stoecklein, i had been seen by another popular eye clinic in Lawrence as I am diabetic and was experiencing eye issues. They ran every test they had and told me aside from a floater, my eyes were healthy. I ended up seeing Dr Stoecklein for a regular eye exam just to get glasses and he was so thorough. I found yes, I have a floater, but it is the result of a hole in my retina and that I also have cataracts! I am so grateful I ended up at Mission Eye Clinic seeing Dr. Stoecklein, especially since I am a diabetic. They have a new patient for life and I have already recommended them to my sister who is looking for a new clinic to go to.

Tech who did majority of interaction was great. Disappointed that I asked to speak to Dr. Regarding a procedure as per form and tech did the question answering. Mission wye care should probably change the form to be more accurate. Was not asked to set up next year's appt. Disappointing. Other than tech, didn't feel like anyone cared if I ever came back. Just a little more client TLC would be good.
