Larry's Barber Shop is a historic business in downtown Lawrence, Kansas, serving the community since the late 1920s. The shop is currently owned and operated by LJ, who took over from his father in 2015. Both father and son have extensive experience in barbering, with Larry Sr. starting his career in 1970 and LJ in 1991. Customers praise Larry's Barber Shop for its excellent haircuts, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The shop offers both walk-in and appointment services. In addition to haircuts, they provide classic hot straight razor shaves, which have also been highly recommended.

From Larry's Barber Shop

This location has been in continous operation as a Barber Shop since we believe late 1920s making it one of oldest in historic downtown Lawrence. Larry Sr. bought it in April 1994 from the previous owner who was here since 1967. Larry Jr. "LJ" is the current owner since 2015 when his father handed it over to him. Larry Sr. started his Barbering career in 1970 LJ in 1991. So if you're looking for a great place for a great haircut call us for an appointment thank you.
