In 10/2017 I had the most horrible treatment in the E R, my platelets had gone down to 4 and my oncologist was out of town so I went to urgent care at the clinic, passed out on the floor and was taken to the ER bia ambulance. Once there it was total maddening. I was give 3 choices, 1) University of Omaha, 2,) St Francis Wichita or 3) , Wesley Wichita. I won't go into the details of this visit but I lost all trust and faith in the ER department and vowed to never set foot in it again.However due to some recent medical emergency I had no choice to return to the local ER. Just had surgery today and I have to say the care team here have been fantastic to me the whole time thank you hutch regional for taking your time to fully understand and help solve my medical issue. The orthopedics floor nurses are all awesome and very intentive to my care great work guys.
There's so much good stuff here so many good people, and they do such good work that I'm just going to flat out say that Hudson regional hospital saves lives. Hands down a great hospital
