Someone showed up right away when the air conditioning stopped working & the heat was unbearable. The tech was very professional & polite. He got right to work, found the problem & got the A/C running & blowing cold air within the hour. Melanie called back right away to get the rest of the information regarding the problem. A technician showed up just after 10:00 am today. He spoke with us to get the rundown of the issue, then went to work. He had the A/C repaired within an hour and it has been working great all day. The folks that operate the answering service were professional and polite. They purchased a new Carrier HVAC unit. The unit has performed well in cooling and heating the home. Technical knowledge, quality, installation, and service of product were priorities. They sold a unit that fit the situation and scheduled installation. Installation was on time, the two installers were very professional and did a good job cleaning up. The experience was the same for a hot water heater: quality product; on time and quality installation and clean up.
We had issues with several parts on our furnace that also "controlled" our AC. Our unit was 10 years old and had issues that required service calls and expensive replacement parts at least 5 times in those 10 years. We found out about A&H through a relative, and decided to call them for help since we were so dissatisfied with the company we bought our original unit from. The technicians came and replaced the furnace part of our units, and for a while it sort of worked, but once they did that install, they found issues with the AC part that weren't evident before the new furnace was installed. We had them order the parts, and when they came in, they immediately came to install them. These wonderful technicians do not leave until they are satisfied the unit is working properly, or in our case, that they have isolated the new issues and called to get the additional parts ordered. They are very thorough, and very efficient. They clean their "mess" completely! They are friendly, answer any questions we have while they are working, take care of our home and everything in it, and are trustworthy! Our AC is now working, as is our new furnace, and we have pretty much a new system, bought and installed by a company that can be trusted to do the job right.
Our AC unit over 20 years old finally gave out on a Thursday. A&H came out on Friday, ordered a new unit and gave us two window AC units to get us by over the weekend. We were up a running by Tuesday afternoon. I've used A&H for years and will not call anyone else. True customer service. Extremely reasonable.
